Job summary

BioTissue Ocular is seeking a Practice Integration Manager to collaborate with marketing and sales leadership to optimize practices for dry eye management and ocular surface preparation prior to cataract surgery.

The role requires consulting with front desk to physicians, educating teams, and influencing stakeholders while staying current with industry trends; travel to client practices is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degrees or certifications in optometry, ophthalmology, or healthcare administration preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in a clinical or practice setting with understanding of optometric/ophthalmic practices.
• Demonstrated ability to consult, educate, and influence a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Proven track record of implementing protocols or changes in a clinical setting.
• Strong understanding of dry eye disease management, ocular surface optimization, and cataract surgery prep protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel to client practices as needed.

Responsibilities

• Identify target accounts needing practice optimization, focusing on dry eye disease and ocular surface prep for cataract surgery.
• Assess practice needs, recommend protocols, and implement strategies to drive efficiencies and improve patient outcomes.
• Engage with every function within the practice to ensure seamless adoption of recommended protocols.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in ocular surface optimization and dry eye management; provide guidance to stakeholders.
• Influence and consult with front desk to physician partners to secure buy-in for protocol changes.
