EyeCare Partners is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to support ophthalmology providers in Florence, KY. This role involves preliminary testing, patient communication, and insurance verification in a fast-paced clinic environment.

The ideal candidate will have high school diploma or GED, 1 year of ophthalmic/optometric experience, and preferred COA/COT certification. Training is available for the right candidate; travel to Crestwood may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of related Ophthalmic/Optometric experience or training.
• Experience as Ophthalmic/Optometric Technician preferred.
• Scribing experience preferred.
• Able to pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor in preliminary testing.
• Verify medical and vision insurances.
• Communicate effectively with patients, doctors, and managers.
• Answer inquiries by phone, email, and in-person requests.
