Bennett & Bloom Eye Centers in Crestwood, KY is looking for a Medical Assistant (Ophthalmic Technician) to support physicians with initial tests, verify insurance, and communicate with patients. The role requires a proactive approach and excellent patient service.

We offer a full benefits package, 401k with match, PTO, holidays, maternity leave, and competitive base pay. Hours are Mon-Fri 7am–7pm with some flexibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum required: High school diploma or GED.
• One year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor in preliminary testing.
• Verify medical and vision insurances.
• Effectively communicate with patients, doctors, and managers.
• Answer inquiries through phone, email, and in-person requests.
