EyeCare Partners is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to support doctors in preliminary testing and patient care in Florence, KY. You will verify insurances, document visits, and help prepare patients for examinations.

Must have a high school diploma or GED with ophthalmic experience preferred. We value teamwork, reliability, and a patient-focused attitude in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required; prior ophthalmic exposure preferred.
• One year related experience or training; ophthalmic/optometric tech preferred.
• Scribing experience is preferred and beneficial.
• Background check with favorable result required; basic computer skills essential.

Aufgaben

• Assist the doctor in preliminary testing and examinations.
• Verify patient insurances and communicate with staff and patients.
• Accurately document visits in the EMR and ensure proper coding.
• Prepare patients for procedures and record vital signs as needed.
• Open/close exam areas and maintain stocked rooms.
