Wayne Health in Detroit seeks an Operations Leader for the Ophthalmic Imaging & Testing department to manage day-to-day operations, set standards of care, and ensure regulatory compliance while optimizing staff performance.

The role requires 3+ years in ophthalmic imaging with supervisory experience, a bachelor’s degree preferred, and certifications such as CRA or OCT-C. Strong communication and leadership are essential to deliver patient-centered care.

Formación

• 3+ years ophthalmic imaging experience.
• 2+ years in a supervisor role preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• CRA or OCT-C or related ophthalmic certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee Imaging and Testing Department staff and schedule.
• Directly supervise Photographers, Diagnostic Testing Specialists, and Sonographers.
• Handles all employee relations duties such as hiring, firing, interviewing, goal setting, performance reviews and coaching.
• Creates and provides all new hire and ongoing training for staff.
• Ensures adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary actions if needed.
• Collaborates with other managers on a routine basis for Testing and Imaging.
• Prepares daily schedule for staff and revises schedule for call-ins and lunches.
• Host daily huddles and communicate policy changes from Management.
• Ensure customer service initiatives and address patient complaints.
• Approve requested time off and payroll timecards.
