Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or four years technical experience in eye care services.
• Minimum of two years progressive leadership responsibility.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheets.
• Preferred: experience in healthcare settings and ophthalmic leadership certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director in implementing short- and long-term plans for the department.
• Develop financial and operational planning, including budgets and pro forma analyses.
• Represent the department on internal and external committees.
• Manage and coordinate operational workgroups to achieve business objectives.
• Engage in community involvement to represent HFHS and Henry Ford Medical Group.
• Implement Business Unit initiatives to support HFMG's goals.
