Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; COA or higher certification preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of business and management principles.
• Ability to direct, manage, implement, and evaluate department operations.
• Ability to establish department goals and objectives that support the strategic plan.
• Ability to plan, delegate and supervise the work of others.
• Ability to lead, motivate, develop and train others.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the primary interface between technicians, physicians, fellows, and patients.
• Interviews and selects new staff members.
• Ensures staff training and empowerment.
• Handles progressive disciplinary processes.
• Monitors and evaluates performance improvement plans.
• Develops strategic goals and objectives.
• Oversees SOP review and implementation.
• Protects patient confidentiality and advocates for patients.
