Job summary

Acuity Eye Group is seeking a Back Office Technician to support patient care, office, and laboratory duties. You will prepare patients for examination and assist optical professionals in providing eye treatment.

Responsibilities include documenting patient information, performing refractions and VA/IOP tests, taking fundus photos, and maintaining exam rooms while ensuring HIPAA and other regulations compliance.

Qualifications

• High School education, GED or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
• Ability to travel to other clinics as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for treatment and assist doctors.
• Perform Refractions.
• Administer Visual Acuity tests.
• Perform intraocular pressure (IOP) tests.
• Take Fundus photos.
• Administer Visual Field tests.
• Administer Fluorescein Angiogram (FA) procedures.
• Administer Indocyanine Green Angiography (ICG) procedures.
• Maintain sterile, stocked exam rooms.
• Document ocular examinations and patient status.
• File forms and update CareCoud/EMR system.
