Responsibilities

• Reviews patient charts for completeness and accuracy.
• Takes ocular/systemic history and records visual acuity.
• Performs tests such as OCT, visual fields, photography, pachymetry, biometry.
• Conducts lensometry, refractometry, slit lamp exams, tonometry and angle assessment.
• Acts as scribe and enters data into EMR or paper charts.
• Administers topical or oral medications.
• Maintains exam room cleanliness and patient flow.
• Complies with procedures, regulations, and safety standards.
