Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient charts for completeness and accuracy.
• Takes ocular and systemic history and records visual acuity.
• Performs diagnostic tests: OCT, visual fields, photography, pachymetry, biometry.
• Conducts slit lamp exams and basic eye measurements; administers medications.
• Assists with scribing and data entry into EMR or paper charts.
• Maintains exam room cleanliness and supports patient education.
