Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Ability to accurately enter data in EMR and perform tasks with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in a patient-facing role.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient charts for completeness and accuracy.
• Takes ocular and systemic history and records visual acuity.
• Performs testing such as OCT, automated visual fields, photography, pachymetry, biometry.
• Performs lensometry, refractometry, slit lamp exams, tonometry, and eye assessments.
• Acts as scribe and enters data into EMR or paper charts.
• Administers topical or oral medications and supports informed consent.
