Job summary
Vertex Pharmaceuticals Incorporated is seeking an Associate Director of Operational Excellence & Business Analytics to translate performance data into decision-ready insights for the CMTO network. You will drive improvement initiatives, mentor teams in lean methods, and embed data-informed governance across sites and functions.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics or related field.
- Typically 8-12 years in pharma/biotech regulated manufacturing, supply chain, or MS&T.
- 5+ years leading operational excellence, transformation, or strategic improvement projects.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to setting CMTO operational excellence strategy and success measures.
- Identify, prioritize, and drive execution of manufacturing improvement initiatives across sites.
- Lead initiatives targeting lead-time reduction, launch optimization, yield, and COGM reduction.
- Lead Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and structured problem-solving.
