What you’ll do as an Operator Telecom Construction

• Safely operate drill equipment on-site, including but not limited to Directional Drill, Backhoe/Excavator, Skid Steer, Tractor Trailer (for moving equipment and hauling water), Vacuum Truck/Trailer
• Restore and landscape disturbed areas of the jobsite
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule
• Handle site setup and cleanup
• Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment onto trucks
• Participate in new site Job Safety Analysis (JSA) before starting construction
• Set up safety perimeters using signage, cones, and barriers; flag traffic as needed

What you’ll need

• Be at least 18 years old
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Valid Driver's License or Class A CDL with tanker endorsement
• Acceptable MVR record
• Ability to maintain a safe work environment
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs with assistance
• Willingness to work overtime, after hours, weekends, or on-call when needed
• Experience with drilling equipment and understanding their capabilities
• Proficiency with locators for utility identification
• Experience with drill setup and design (preferred)
• Ability to read work orders, safety rules, and operating instructions
• Ability to climb ladders, machinery, and objects
• Previous construction or utility construction experience (preferred)

Physical abilities & exposures

• Close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision, with focus adjustment
• Exposure to dust, fumes, airborne pathogens, chemicals, moving machinery, noise (moderate level)
• Remote work, long driving, and sitting may be required
