What you’ll do as an Operator Telecom Construction

• Safely operate drill equipment on the jobsite, including but not limited to: Directional Drill, Backhoe / Excavator, Skid Steer, Tractor Trailer (Moving Equipment / Haul Water), Vacuum Truck/Trailer
• Restore and/or landscape disturbed areas of the jobsite
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule
• Responsible for site setup and cleanup
• Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment on truck
• Participate in new site Job Safety Analysis (JSA) prior to starting construction
• Set up safety perimeter using signage, cones, and safety barriers; flag traffic when needed

What you’ll need

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Valid standard Driver's License or Class A Commercial Driver's License with tanker endorsement
• Acceptable MVR record
• Ability to maintain a safe work environment
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed
• Availability for overtime, after hours, weekends, emergencies, or on-call
• Experience with drilling equipment and understanding their capabilities and limitations
• Proficiency in using locators to identify utilities safely
• Experience with drill setup and design processes (preferred)
• Ability to read and understand work orders, safety rules, and operating instructions
• Ability to climb ladders, machinery, and other objects
• Previous construction or utility construction experience (preferred)

• Vision abilities: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, focus adjustment
• Exposure to dust, fumes, airborne pathogens, toxic or corrosive chemicals, moving machinery
• Remote work may be required; long driving and sitting involved
• Moderate noise level in work environment
