At Lambert's Cable Splicing, as an Operator Construction Aerial, you’ll operate heavy equipment used in installation, repair, and maintenance activities associated with underground construction or utilities in a safe and effective manner.

What you’ll do as an Operator Telecom Construction

• Safely operate drill equipment on the jobsite, including Directional Drill, Backhoe/Excavator, Skid Steer, Tractor Trailer (for moving equipment and hauling water), Vacuum Truck/Trailer.
• Restore and landscape disturbed areas of the jobsite.
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule.
• Handle site setup and cleanup.
• Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment on trucks.
• Participate in new site Job Safety Analysis (JSA) prior to construction.
• Set up safety perimeters using signage, cones, and barriers; flag traffic when needed.

What you’ll need

• Be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the US.
• Valid Driver's License or Class A CDL with tanker endorsement.
• Acceptable MVR record.
• Ability to maintain a safe work environment.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed.
• Work overtime, after hours, weekends, emergencies, or on-call.
• Experience with drilling equipment and understanding their capabilities.
• Proficiency in using locators to identify utilities safely.
• Experience with drill setup and design is a plus.
• Ability to read work orders, safety rules, and operating instructions.
• Ability to climb ladders, machinery, and other objects.
• Previous construction or utility experience is beneficial.
