Job summary

Veolia is seeking an Operator I to operate and maintain sludge and de-watering treatment equipment in a refinery/industrial facility in Texas. The role requires learning to independently run pumps, centrifuges, valves, mixers, and testing devices, while meeting processing and quality targets under supervision.

Responsibilities include sample collection, logging readings, performing unit rounds, and assisting in preventive and general maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Company programs allow progression to Operator II after competency demonstrations.
• The role focuses on learning and independently operating refinery/industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain sludge, de-watering treatment, processing, disposal and testing equipment to meet specifications under supervision.
• Learn and operate pumps, centrifuges, valves, mixers, conveyors, and testing devices.
• Log process readings and collect liquid/solid samples for routine testing.
• Perform unit rounds and assist in preventive and general maintenance.
