Premier Packaging is seeking a Machine Operator Assistant for 1st shift (7am-3pm) or 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) in Oldmans Township, NJ. The role supports setup of corrugated manufacturing machines, handles materials, and aids production operations.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Lift up to 25 lbs alone and up to 50 lbs assisted.
• Repetitive motion of hands and wrists.
• Can read a tape measure in standard measurements.
• Ability to assist in setup and operation of corrugated manufacturing machinery.
• Adherence to safety protocols and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup of corrugated manufacturing machines under the guidance of the machine operator.
• Ensure that materials and tools required for machine setup are readily available.
• Handle and transport corrugated materials within the production area.
• Support the loading and unloading of materials onto and from the production line.
• Follow instructions and perform tasks delegated by the machine operator.
• Assist in conducting quality checks on produced materials.
• Notify the machine operator of any defects or issues identified during the production process.
• Communicate clearly to ensure coordinated efforts in the production workflow.
• Be open to learning and gaining skills related to corrugated manufacturing processes.
