Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking a Machine Assistant to support the production line in our Wisconsin facility. You will help prepare the machine, assist the operator, and ensure materials and safety standards are upheld to deliver quality printed packaging.

Responsibilities include monitoring quality and waste, setting up equipment, moving goods with a forklift, and keeping the work area clean. The role requires willingness to rotate 12-hour shifts, days/nights, weekends, and some holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment around heavy machinery and high-speed rotating parts.
• Detail oriented with a team-focused attitude.
• Able to pass pre-employment testing requirements.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and working around solvents.
• Able to distinguish colors and work around safety hazards.
• Comfortable using computers and basic mechanical tools.
• Experience with industrial vehicles is a plus.
• Basic math skills applicable to production tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Machine Operator with setting up and maintaining production equipment.
• Support the production of quality products while monitoring quality and waste.
• Ensure the correct material is available and follow quality checks.
• Operate a forklift to move product and waste as needed.
• Maintain general housekeeping and keep the work area clean.
• Learn responsibilities of line positions to progress along the line.

As a Machine Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in helping us produce high-quality printed packaging.
