Job summary

Premier Packaging in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to keep our corrugated manufacturing equipment running smoothly. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and repair components to minimize downtime.

This on-site role requires reading electrical schematics, using hand and power tools, and collaborating with operators and supervisors. We offer competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Lift up to 25 lbs alone and up to 50 lbs with assistance.
• Technical education or certification in maintenance is a plus.
• Familiarity with corrugated manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Proficient in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery.
• Capability to interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.
• Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.

Responsibilities

• Execute routine preventive maintenance tasks on corrugated manufacturing machinery.
• Follow established schedules to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with root-cause analysis.
• Conduct repairs on malfunctioning machinery, including replacing parts.
• Collaborate with machine operators, production supervisors, and other maintenance technicians.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and replacements.
• Participate in equipment upgrade projects to enhance machinery capabilities.
