Premier Packaging in Pedricktown, NJ, is seeking a Machine Operator Assistant for the 2nd shift (3pm-11pm). The role involves assisting in setting up corrugated manufacturing equipment, loading materials, and helping with quality checks to ensure smooth production.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read a tape measure in standard units.
• Lift up to 25 lbs., up to 50 lbs. with assistance.
• Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions.
• Basic math and computer knowledge required.
• Good communication to coordinate workflow.
• Ability to assist in setup and operation of corrugated machinery.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup of corrugated manufacturing machines under supervision.
• Ensure materials and tools for setup are available.
• Transport corrugated materials within production area.
• Support loading and unloading materials from production line.
• Follow instructions and tasks delegated by the machine operator.
• Assist in quality checks of produced materials.
• Notify operator of defects and issues.
• Communicate clearly to coordinate production workflow.
• Be open to learning corrugated processes.

Shift: Machine Operator Assistant

• 1st Shift - 7am-3pm, Monday through Friday
• 2nd Shift - 3pm-11pm, Monday through Friday

Expected Hours:Machine Operator Assistant

• 40 Hours
• Overtime When Needed

Pay Frequency:Machine Operator Assistant

• Bi-Weekly

Essential Functions:Machine Operator Assistant

• Assist in the setup of corrugated manufacturing machines under the guidance of the machine operator.
• Ensure that materials and tools required for machine setup are readily available.
• Handle and transport corrugated materials within the production area.
• Support the loading and unloading of materials onto and from the production line.
• Follow instructions and perform tasks delegated by the machine operator.
• Assist in conducting quality checks on produced materials.
• Notify the machine operator of any defects or issues identified during the production process.
• Communicate clearly to ensure coordinated efforts in the production workflow.
• Be open to learning and gaining skills related to corrugated manufacturing processes.
