Job summary

Premier Packaging in Louisville, KY is hiring for a 2nd shift role in manufacturing. The position runs Monday to Friday, 3:00pm – 11:00pm, with 40 hours per week and bi-weekly pay. Hourly pay ranges from $17.85 to $21.85, with benefits and opportunities for growth.

As a team member, you will assist in machine setup, move materials on the production floor, support loading/unloading, and help ensure quality and safety throughout the process. Training and learning opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to lift up to 25 lb individually and up to 50 lb with assistance.
• Repetitive motion of the hands and wrists.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Able to read a tape measure.
• Assist in setup and operation of corrugated manufacturing machinery.
• Adherence to safety protocols during machine operation.
• Effective communication to ensure smooth workflow.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup of corrugated manufacturing machines under guidance of the machine operator.
• Ensure materials and tools for setup are available.
• Handle and transport corrugated materials within the production area.
• Support loading/unloading of materials onto/from the production line.
• Follow instructions and tasks from the machine operator.
• Assist in quality checks on produced materials.
• Notify operator of defects identified during production.
• Communicate clearly for coordinated production workflow.
• Be open to learning corrugated manufacturing processes.

Essential Functions:

• Assist in the setup of corrugated manufacturing machines under the guidance of the machine operator.
