Job summary

Aspire Bakeries is seeking an Operator 3, Bakery-Warehouse at our Cayce bakery to ensure accurate inventory and smooth warehouse operations. You will move, count, and store products, support traceability, and help maintain audit-ready conditions in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires at least 2 years of warehouse experience, basic Excel/Outlook skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Weekend availability and adherence to safety and GMP are essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records through transactions, reconciliations, and system updates.
• Operate material-handling equipment to move, store, and retrieve products.
• Validate finished goods inventory for counts and labeling.
• Manage freezer storage to support organization and traceability.
• Support inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain clean, audit-ready warehouse areas.

About the Role

We are seeking an Operator 3, Bakery-Warehouse to join our team at our Cayce bakery. As an Operator 3, Bakery-Warehouse, you will be accountable for maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting efficient warehouse operations through product movement, inventory transactions, and storage activities. This role is vital to ensuring product traceability, inventory integrity, and operational readiness in a fast-paced bakery manufacturing environment.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 3rd Shift
• Hours: 10:0 PM - 6:30 AM
• Weekend Availability: Required
• Hourly Rate: $20.50

Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)

• Maintain accurate inventory records through inventory transactions, reconciliations, and system updates.
• Operate material-handling equipment to safely move, store, and retrieve products.
• Validate finished goods inventory to ensure accurate product counts and labeling.
• Manage freezer storage activities to support inventory organization and traceability.
• Support inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain warehouse and storage areas in a clean, organized, and audit-ready condition.
• Follow safety, GMP, and operational requirements to support production and warehouse performance.

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience.
• Experience using computer systems and inventory management software.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work in freezer environments and perform frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, and climbing throughout the shift.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and able to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and other business-driven schedules.

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

• Two years of forklift operating experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Experience using SAP for inventory management and warehouse transactions.
• Documented training or certification on forklifts, electric pallet jacks, manual pallet jacks, or related material-handling equipment.
• Experience supporting inventory audits and cycle counting activities.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and attention-to-detail skills in a fast-paced production environment.
