Aspire Bakeries in Cayce, SC is seeking an Operator 3, Bakery–Production to operate and adjust automated production and packaging equipment, ensuring high quality and food safety standards. This role supports a fast-paced manufacturing environment and requires teamwork.

The position offers a 2nd shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM with opportunities to grow within a leading bakery company. Candidates should be reliable, safety‑minded, and collaborative.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and capable of basic reading, writing and math tasks.
• Strong communication and observational skills are required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and teamwork.
• Experience in manufacturing or food production is preferred.

About the Role

We are seeking an Operator 3, Bakery–Production to join our team at our Cayce, SC bakery. As an Operator 3, Bakery–Production, you will be accountable for operating and adjusting automated production and packaging equipment while ensuring products meet quality and food safety standards. This role is vital to maintaining production efficiency, minimizing downtime, and supporting a safe, high‑performing manufacturing environment.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 2nd Shift
• Hours: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing)

• Operate and adjust automated production and packaging equipment to ensure products meet quality specifications.
• Monitor product quality and complete required documentation to support regulatory and company standards.
• Support production line start‑ups, changeovers, shutdowns, and preventative maintenance activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while complying with GMP and safety requirements.
• Rotate across production and packaging operations to support changing business needs.
• Troubleshoot equipment and product issues to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production, food safety, and quality objectives.

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Strong communication and observational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment with changing priorities.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a high‑performing team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform bending, twisting, reaching, and climbing as required.

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in food manufacturing or food production environments.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and identify basic mechanical issues.
