thyssenkrupp Materials NA is seeking an Operations Training Specialist to conduct and present training programs for employees at workstations and in classrooms. The role focuses on developing materials, monitoring effectiveness, and improving orientation for new hires and temps.

Responsibilities include organizing training, partnering with supervisors, and providing follow-up to ensure content efficacy, with a strong emphasis on measurable outcomes and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years Aerospace plant experience with strong knowledge of all operational positions.
• Strong communication skills; ability to adapt communication style for learners.
• Ability to read and write business-related correspondence; basic computer skills.
• Strong organizational skills; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain training accountability
• Organize new hire orientation and training classes
• Assimilate new hires and temps into the work floor
• Assess operational training requirements
• Partner with supervisors to accommodate training requirements
• Provide follow up to training conducted to measure effectiveness
