Job summary

Williams Companies, Inc. in Bowling Green, Ohio, is seeking an Operations Technician to maintain one of our large fuel-handling facilities. You will read drawings, inspect gear, and support pipeline operations while meeting safety and regulatory standards.

You’ll collaborate with teammates to analyze data, troubleshoot equipment, and maintain records for performance and compliance. This role requires lifting, climbing, and extended shifts with PPE, and may involve travel between sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid State Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and travel between locations.
• Ability to operate in extreme conditions and elevated areas with PPE.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Keep equipment running safely by performing hands-on tasks, from reading drawings to inspecting gear and supporting pipeline operations.
• Collaborate with teammates to analyze data and solve technical or operational challenges.
• Follow policies and procedures to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Learn and apply site and permit requirements to maintain compliance and protect personnel and assets.
• Maintain records of process operations, complete reports and logs, and assist with preventive maintenance.
