Job summary

Williams Companies, Inc. is seeking an Operations Technician in Bowling Green, Ohio, to support one of its major installations and handle electrical/instrumentation maintenance, instrumentation loop work, and control system support.

You will gain experience with gas turbines, high-speed engines, and distributed control systems while contributing to safe, reliable operations in a dynamic environment. Relocation is eligible for this full-time role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and travel between locations.
• Ability to work in extreme conditions and elevated areas with PPE.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safety and operational excellence.
• Technician II: 2+ years in oil & gas; Technician III: 3+ years; Technician Sr: 6+ years; Associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation systems (switchgear, motor controls, control loops, PLCs).
• Identify root causes of equipment issues and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime.
• Maintain and repair process control systems to support plant operations.
• Collaborate with project teams to define scope and instrumentation specifications for new installations and upgrades.
• Perform additional duties to support operations.
