Job summary

Williams Companies is seeking an experienced Operations Technician to maintain one of its largest power and distribution installations. You will perform hands-on tasks, read drawings, inspect gear, and support pipeline operations while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

You will collaborate with teammates to analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and maintain records. Expect rotating shifts, travel between sites, and opportunities to grow within a Fortune 500 company focused on clean energy

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and travel between locations.
• Ability to work in extreme conditions and elevated areas with PPE.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Keep equipment running safely and smoothly by performing hands-on tasks, reading drawings, inspecting gear, and supporting pipeline operations.
• Collaborate with teammates to analyze data and solve technical or operational challenges.
• Follow company policies and use proper procedures to ensure efficient and safe operations.
• Learn and apply site requirements for safe, effective facility operations while protecting team, community, environment and assets.
• Maintain site familiarity, equipment, and permits to support smooth operations and compliance.
• Maintain accurate process operation records, complete reports and logs, and assist with preventive maintenance.
