Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics is hiring a Team Lead, Operations at our Goodyear, AZ facility. The role coordinates warehousing, receiving, and shipping activities under the Operations Supervisor, ensuring performance, safety, and quality targets are met.

The incumbent will mentor staff, manage shipping/receiving duties, and uphold SOPs while maintaining OSHA/ safety standards in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 1 year experience in a logistics/distribution environment.
• Able to operate material handling equipment (MHE).
• Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures in warehouse conditions (room-temp to moderate).
• Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and train new and existing associates on distribution activities and SOPs.
• Oversee unloading, stacking, picking and staging of shipments; verify paperwork with drivers.
• Load orders accurately according to doors and trailers.
• Maintain safety, quality and housekeeping standards; participate in safety meetings.
