Job summary

Belk in Carrollton, Texas is seeking an Operations Team Lead to drive sales and deliver a positive customer experience. The role handles inbound deliveries, outbound shipments, replenishment, and store facilities, coordinating with merchandising and omni/selling teams to achieve store objectives.

The position is hourly with monthly bonus eligibility and requires ownership, accountability, and teamwork to optimize operations and customer service.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience.
• Commitment to customer service excellence.
• Ability to lead and develop a team.
• Willingness to make data-informed decisions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Comfortable with smartphones/tablets/Windows OS.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Must regularly move around store areas and lift/move up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to push/pull equipment up to 500 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ownership and accountability to achieve store objectives and key metrics.
• Lead shipment deliveries and oversee efficient product processing.
• Communicate daily goals and tasks to the team.
• Plan inbound/outbound activities using shipment systems and tools.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and asset protection procedures.
• Track supply usage and place replenishment orders.

• Support onboarding and ongoing learning for associates.

• Support in-store customer experience during peak periods.
