Position Summary
The Operations Support Specialist is responsible for providing support for the day-to-day operations of all Puttshack US Venues. They will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues to ensure the smooth operation of systems and processes, and providing overall administrative support for the Operations Support Team and Food & Beverage Team.
This is a hybrid position, requiring 3 days on-site at our Home Office in Chicago (River North), IL.
Position Responsibilities May Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Oversee the support of multiple platforms across the day-to-day operations, including reporting on performance and recommending actionable improvements to increase efficiencies.
- Create and update SOPs to standardize processes, systems, and procedures across all US Venues
- Maintain communication with Venue, Home Office Team, and vendors to ensure adherence to protocols across key touch points.
- Collaborate with Training Department in creating and coordinating training materials and activities across Operations and Food & Beverage.
- Support Food & Beverage Department on new initiatives such as new menu and LTO item roll outs, recipe creation, cost analysis, print and shipping, etc.
- Coordinate across finance and accounting department to manage inventory and systems reports.
- Act as a main point of contact for department leaders, operations teams, and vendors for operations platforms, including trouble shooting and optimization projects.
- Other duties and projects as assigned
Required Skills And Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Hospitality/Food & Beverage Management role, including experience managing Operations Systems and Procedures, such as POS, Time & Attendance, Inventory Management, etc.
- Proven organizational skills, including time management and multi-tasking
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to travel locally and nationally up to 20%
- This position must pass a post-offer background check
Preferred Skills And Experience
- Project Management experience and/or certification a plus!
Physical Requirements
Physical activities on a continuous basis including regular standing, sitting at desk for a long period of time, frequent use of telephone/video conferencing, and using a keyboard to communicate through written means. Some walking and lifting, up to 25 lbs. may be required. The noise level in the work environment is typically low to moderate within a typical office setting, and moderate to high within the venue setting. Travel by car and plane may be required from time to time. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions and responsibilities of this job.
