Shamrock Trading Corporation seeks an Operations Support Representative – After Hours to manage the after-hours operational coordination for Ryan Transportation loads, including tracking and tracing, communications with customers and carriers, status updates, and timely paperwork.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, a problem solver with strong attention to detail, capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment, and ready to work 3 weekday shifts 3:00 PM–12:00 AM and 2 weekend shifts

Responsibilities

• Manage and respond to inbound calls and emails in all aspects of customer service.
• Conduct routine follow-up calls as directed by Carrier Sales and Account Management representatives.
• Maintain records through timely and accurate system updates.
• Provide timely and efficient updates to Account Managers as new information arises.
• Utilize active listening to gather necessary details and anticipate issues.
• Coordinate logistics activity including issue resolution and communication between operations and sales.
• Track and trace orders and complete load-related paperwork.
• Shifts include 3 weekday shifts 3:00PM-12:00AM and 2 weekend shifts 8:00AM-5:00PM.
• Other duties as assigned.

About the Role

Ryan Transportation and Shamrock are looking for an Operations Support Representative – After Hours. This operations position is responsible for the after-hours operational management of Ryan Transportation loads including tracking and tracing, internal and external communications, status updates, and other customer service duties to ensure the highest level of customer and carrier satisfaction. An ideal candidate will be self-motivated, a critical thinker, and problem solver with a high level of attention to detail.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and respond to inbound calls and emails in all aspects of customer service
• Conduct routine follow-up calls as directed by Carrier Sales and Account Management representatives
• Maintain records through timely and accurate system updates
• Provide timely and efficient updates to Account Managers as new information arises
• Utilize active listening skills to gather necessary details and anticipate potential issues
• Coordinate logistics activity including issue resolution, communication between carrier operations, customer operations, and sales
• Track and trace orders for each load in our system and complete all load-related paperwork
• Shifts can be customized, but must be able to work the following schedule requirements:
  • 3 weekday shifts from the hours of 3:00PM-12:00AM and 2 weekend shifts from 8:00AM-5:00PM
• Other duties as assigned
