Job summary

Planet Group is seeking an Operations Support Specialist in Chandler, AZ to provide data entry, analysis, and problem-solving support for work planning and control. This full-time role offers robust benefits and will support our premiere client, located in Rio Rancho, NM.

Key tasks include processing POs in SAP, creating Excel reports, coordinating with project controls, and monitoring invoices and change orders. Strong Excel skills and organizational abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, construction or related field is preferred.
• High School Diploma with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, Internet, Intranet and Adobe.
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills.
• Well organized and self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as with a team.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase orders and change requests in SAP following SOPs.
• Provide status updates for change orders by creating or updating reports in Excel.
• Coordinate with project controls, project management, finance and operations to expedite change order status.
• Assist in review of change orders per client approval process.
• Monitor invoices for the project and assist in change order log maintenance.
• Review contractor closeout documents and manage data inputs across multiple projects.
• Facilitate cost reconciliation between estimates and explain variance drivers.
• Act as liaison between the client and trade contractors.
