Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of clerical experience required.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Strong math, analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to work on varying schedules.
• Knowledge of DOT Hours of Service Regulations preferred.
• Familiarity with distribution/transport documentation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process routine forms, reports, and documents for warehouse and transportation operations.
• Communicate with internal and external customers to support staff and customer needs.
• Respond to general inquiries and telephone calls.
• Verify information for regulatory compliance and procedures.
• Track and input data on operations metrics to monitor performance.
• Create basic charts, graphs, spreadsheets and databases for manager review.
• Monitor office supplies and initiate purchase orders.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by manager.
