Job summary

Mercury Systems is seeking an Operations Intern for a 6-month Co-Op in Hudson, NH, July–December 2027. You will support manufacturing throughput, material readiness, data analysis, reporting, and cross-functional coordination to drive efficiency and performance.

You’ll gain hands-on experience across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Continuous Improvement, and Data Analysis while collaborating with multiple departments and mentors to learn how processes and data support product delivery and business

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management or a related field
• A minimum GPA of 3.1 is required and transcripts will be reviewed
• Completed at least 1 year of undergraduate studies
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and basic formulas
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) or ERP/MRP systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration abilities

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily operational tasks related to manufacturing throughput, material readiness, and production coordination
• Collect, organize, and analyze operational data to improve visibility and support decision-making
• Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance metrics used by Operations leadership
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to support planning and follow-up actions
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts focused on workflow efficiency, process consistency, or data accuracy
• Support documentation updates, standard work, and operational procedures to ensure alignment across teams

Required Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management or a related field
• A minimum GPA of 3.1 is required. You will be asked to submit your transcripts during the review process
• Completed at least 1 year of undergraduate studies
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and basic formulas
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) or experience working with ERP/MRP systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present information to various audiences, including leadership
• Demonstrated teamwork, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to manufacturing, operations, or supply chain concepts through coursework or prior internship experience
• Basic understanding of process improvement or Lean methodologies

Full time Equivalent Job Grade Salary Range for this position: $17.00 - 39.00/hour, Mercury considers a variety of factors to determine individual base salary offers to candidates, including:

• The role and related responsibilities;

• Internal equity with others employed by Mercury in similar roles;
• Geographic location; and
• Alignment with market data.
