Job summary

Hallmark is seeking an Operations Supervisor – Supply Chain to lead up to 55 employees across Kansas/Missouri facilities and a Liberty, MO distribution center. You will schedule work, drive productivity, and manage cost targets in a fast-paced production environment.

The role emphasizes leadership, continuous improvement and teamwork, with shifts across 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or weekend schedules as needed to meet business goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years supervising direct reports; OR an Associate’s degree with graduation in Dec 2026 or May 2027.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering or production operations.
• Experience with SAP and/or Manhattan.

• Continuous improvement: use PDCA/A3 tools with leadership and operators to reduce costs.

The Operations Supervisor will:

• Productivity –you’llbe leading all activities within your assigned area, working towardsgoals andobjectivesto ensurethey are met.
• Continuous improvement–you’llbe using a disciplined problem-solving approach, usingPDCA/A3 tools with our leadership team and operators to achieve or exceed cost reduction targets.
• Leadership–leadingand motivating your team as you provide direction and support to carry out the goals andobjectivesof your area as well as thecompany.

The Operations Supervisor role may be filled at any of ourKansas/Missouri supply chain locations,across any of the shifts– 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or weekend.Occasional weekend workmay be requiredfor those on a M-F weekly shift,dependenton businessneed.

Hallmark products are producedin both of our Kansas Manufacturing facilitieslocatedin Lawrence, Kansas and Leavenworth, Kansas. These facilities produce most of our greeting cards, giftwrap, ribbons & bows, tissuepaperand stickers. Our Liberty Distribution Center,locatedin Liberty, Missouri , fulfills and distributes most of these products to our customers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

The followingis required tobe considered for this role:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent AND a minimum of 3 years supervising direct reports; ORAssociate’sdegree or higher, with a graduation date of Dec 2026or May 2027.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain,engineeringor production operations.
• Experience managing direct reports in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Experience with equipment and/or building maintenance.
• Ability to lead, coach and mentor teams.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with SAPand/or Manhattan.
• Adept at seeing opportunities to improve upon the status quo and implementing solutions.
• Familiarity with Lean principles.
