Hallmark is seeking an Operations Supervisor – Supply Chain to lead up to 55 employees, directing the scheduling and assignment of work to meet productivity, serviceability, quality, and cost targets across our Kansas/Missouri network.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, disciplined problem solving (PDCA), and the ability to coach teams in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Location includes Liberty, MO, with shift variability and possible weekend work based on business needs.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent AND a minimum of 3 years supervising direct reports; OR Associate’s degree or higher, with a graduation date of Dec 2026 or May 2027.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

  • Productivity – you’ll be leading all activities within your assigned area, working towards goals and objectives to ensure they are met.
  • Continuous improvement – you’ll be using a disciplined problem-solving approach, using PDCA/A3 tools with our leadership team and operators to achieve or exceed cost reduction targets.
  • Leadership – leading and motivating your team as you provide direction and support to carry out the goals and objectives of your area as well as the company.

The Operations Supervisor will:

TheOperations Supervisorrole may be filled at any of ourKansas/Missouri supply chain locations,across any of the shifts– 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or weekend.Occasional weekend workmay be requiredfor those on aM-F weeklyshift,dependenton businessneed.

Hallmark products are producedin both of ourKansas Manufacturing facilitieslocatedin Lawrence, Kansas and Leavenworth, Kansas.These facilities produce most of our greeting cards, giftwrap, ribbons & bows, tissuepaperand stickers.OurLiberty Distribution Center,locatedin Liberty, Missouri, fulfills and distributes most of these products to our customers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

The followingisrequired tobe considered for this role:

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent AND a minimum of 3 years supervising direct reports; ORAssociate’sdegree or higher, with a graduation date of Dec 2026or May 2027.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain,engineeringor production operations.
  • Experience managing direct reports in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Experience with equipment and/or building maintenance.
  • Ability to lead, coach and mentor teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with SAPand/or Manhattan.
  • Adept at seeing opportunities to improve upon the status quo and implementing solutions.
  • Familiarity with Lean principles.
