Job summary

FedEx is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead daily sortation and staff. You will ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with FedEx policies while mentoring a team of Package Handlers and administrative staff.

You will coach, train, and evaluate performance, manage scheduling, and partner with linehaul as needed to meet service goals in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates bring strong leadership, communication, and a proven track record of safety program delivery in a logistics

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Certification or Associate's degree acceptable in lieu of experience.
• Experience supervising in fast-paced environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise package handlers and administrative staff for daily operations.
• Plan, organize, direct and control day-to-day activities to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Hire, coach, train, evaluate performance and manage staff relations.
• Ensure compliance with FXG policies and regulatory requirements.
• Lead meetings, communicate updates, and drive safety initiatives.
