Job summary

FedEx is seeking an Operations Supervisor in Ohio to lead a team of package handlers while championing the Safety Above All culture. You will manage day-to-day operations, coordinate staffing, and ensure safe and efficient sortation of packages in the facility.

You will hire, coach and evaluate staff, lead meetings, and implement process improvements. Strong communication and mentoring skills are essential for developing frontline supervisors and maintaining compliance with FXG policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum education as listed is required or preferred.
• Experience in fast-paced environments or supervisory roles is preferred.
• Ability to train and coach staff on safety and processes.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise package handlers to ensure safe and efficient sortation.
• Hire, coach, train, recognize, evaluate, and manage staff performance.
• Plan, organize, staff, and control day-to-day operations.
• Assign and manage staff to ensure safe sortation and tracking of trailers.
• Analyze performance and implement improvement plans.
• Lead daily meetings and communicate operational updates.
• Train new employees on FXG policies and safety requirements.
• Mentor and develop junior operations supervisors.
