Job summary

You will plan operations, assign staff to optimize safety, efficiency, and cost, provide guidance in meetings, analyze performance metrics, and mentor new supervisors to develop critical skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months experience in package handling or supervisory roles.
• Experience in fast-paced environments (retail, hospitality, fulfillment center, warehouse) is expected.
• Knowledge of FedEx policies and safety procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Champion the Safety Above All Culture and initiatives.
• Hire, coach, train, recognize and evaluate staff; manage performance and discipline.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control day-to-day operations.
• Assign and manage staff to ensure safe, efficient sortation of packages and tracking of trailers.
• Analyze performance and implement improvement plans to meet key metrics.
• Lead daily meetings and communicate updates and goals to teams.
