Qualifications

• Must possess high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to travel as needed.
• Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• OSHA laws, Hazardous Materials Regulations, NMFC and Tariff Rules knowledge preferred.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Multi-task oriented with good organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Internet.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, educate and develop company employees focusing on retention and growth.
• Supervise and direct employee work with a focus on quality, customer deliverables and safety.
• Monitor safety, provide corrective action and follow-up with impacted employees.
• Plan daily manpower needs and schedules to ensure on-time freight delivery and pickup.
• Communicate job assignments clearly and coordinate with all staff.
• Monitor service freight and ensure cut time compliance.
• Identify opportunities to cut costs while maintaining safety standards.
• Assist customers with rate quotes, claims information and setting appointments.
• Gather data for reporting and monitor performance metrics.
• Build relationships with business partners to meet service standards.
