Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Some college coursework preferred.
• 2 years of experience with operations, preferably in transportation.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of AS400 and Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors safety of each employee daily and trains on safety processes as needed.
• Plans and oversees safe and efficient loading/unloading of freight.
• Ensures housekeeping within the shift for safety and productivity.
• Assigns and supervises pickups and deliveries to optimize equipment usage.
• Collaborates with Service Center management to meet daily/weekly/yearly objectives.
• Provides instruction and ideas to improve shift and facility operations.
• Supports adherence to OSHA and DOT compliance and regulatory standards.
• Uses the OD technology system to monitor shipments and communicate with team members.
