Job summary

Recology is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead the operations team, assign routes, monitor performance, and ensure timely, safe, and efficient service. The role involves incident investigation, driver coordination, and collaboration with management to optimize processes and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates will have supervisory experience in waste or logistics, a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor's preferred), and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; bachelor's preferred.
• Experience in waste, recycling, transportation, or logistics management.
• CDL Class A or B preferred at hire or within 12 months.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Knowledge of employee training, supervision, and evaluation.
• Skills in supervisory techniques, resource allocation, planning and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Assigns routes and pickups; balances workload and coverage.
• Ensures route completions and analyzes routes for improvements.
• Monitors operations; enforces safety policies and procedures.
• Resolves customer service issues with drivers; handles inquiries.
