Job summary

Wallenius Wilhelmsen is seeking an Operations Supervisor in Smyrna, Tennessee, to lead our Vehicle Processing Center. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and cost-conscious operations, with a shift pattern from 5am to 2:15pm, Monday through Friday.

You will mentor hourly workers, drive process improvements, and manage OEM partnerships while upholding our safety-first culture and commitment to excellence in logistics.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in first-line supervisory roles with emphasis on employee relations.
• Familiarity with SOP, MRP, TQM, JIT, Kaizen, 5S and visual factory management.
• Experience in assembly line operations, with emphasis on automotive or mechanical applications.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office and database navigation.
• A valid driver''s license and ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions.
• Physical ability: work in confined spaces and in adverse weather, lift/carry up to 30 lbs, and walk/stand for long periods.

• Drive continuous improvement to achieve operational excellence.
• Meet and exceed performance targets while fostering safety and cost-effectiveness.
