Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA, NMFC and Tariff Rules, DOT Rules and Regulations preferred.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Multi-tasking orientation and strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Internet.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, educate and develop company employees focusing on retention and growth
• Supervise and direct employee work with a focus on quality, customer deliverables and safety
• Plan daily manpower needs and set schedules to ensure on-time deliveries
• Communicate job assignments coordinating with all employees
• Monitor service freight and ensure cut time compliance
• Identify opportunities to cut costs and improve efficiencies while maintaining safety
• Assist with rate quotes, claims information and setting appointments
• Build relationships with business partners to meet service standards
• Ensure OS&D is identified and processed properly
• Perform administrative functions as required
• Comply with laws/regulations and company policies
• Perform other duties as required
