Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Knowledge of LTL, DOT, OSHA, NMFC and Tariff rules.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Internet.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, educate and develop employees focusing on retention and growth.
• Supervise and direct employee work with focus on safety and quality.
• Monitor safety and address unsafe acts/conditions with corrective action.
• Plan daily manpower and schedules to ensure on-time, damage-free freight.
• Assign tasks and ensure clear, concise communication.
• Monitor service freight and cut-time compliance.
• Identify cost-cutting opportunities while upholding safety standards.
• Assist customers with rate quotes and claims information.
• Gather data for reporting and maintain relationships with partners.
• Ensure OS&D is identified and processed.
• Perform additional duties as required.
