Job summary

Pegasus Logistics Group is seeking a skilled supervisor to manage the flow of goods and information across the supply chain. You will coordinate with procurement, production, inventory control, distribution, and transportation to optimize operations and meet KPIs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 3 years in related areas, and at least 1 year in a leadership/ supervisory capacity. Fluency in English and Spanish and strong communication are essential.

Job Profile Summary:

Supervises the flow of goods, resources, and information required by the supply chain to ensure that critical processes run effectively and achieve organizational goals and performance KPIs.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversees team and coordination with procurement, production, inventory control, distribution, transportation, and other functions to optimize the supply chain. Responds to escalations of bottlenecks or problem areas and proposes solutions. Monitors suppliers and service providers for quality and performance. Supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures Comply with the requirements of the company’s Quality Management System.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

Bachelor’s degree 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision 1+ years prior experience in a lead, supervisory or management role Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Make creative, timely and independent decisions. Work overtime as needed. Fluency in English and Spanish Confident, team-oriented, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in English, including the ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English, is required for this position.

Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:

CargoWise One (WiseTech) Experience Intermediate to Advanced level of experience with Excel Self-managed and highly motivated Displays integrity, reliability, empathy, and a strong work ethic. Results-oriented; Displays sense of urgency. Proficient in routing, costing, rating, and tracking.

Physical Requirements:

Lift, carry, and move materials up to 50 pounds Remain in a stationary/seated position for an extended period. Regularly required to operate a computer, telephone, keyboard, and other office machinery. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work. The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds.
