Job summary

Pegasus Logistics Group is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced setting. You will manage receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control, ensuring accurate documentation and performance tracking.

The role emphasizes space optimization, process improvements, and adherence to safety policies aligned with our Quality Management System, with supervision of a small team of para-professional staff.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or its equivalent is required.
  • 3+ years of related experience as an individual contributor.
  • Strong technical and supervisory skills to direct staff.
  • Proficiency in English (read, write, speak).

Job Profile Summary

Supervises the overall warehouse operations and daily activities of staff.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Oversees receiving and stowing, picking and packing, shipping, inventory management, and documentation.

Optimizes efficient layouts, workflows, and utilization of warehouse space.

Monitors the safety and security of goods and materials.

Utilizes a warehouse management system (WMS), enterprise resource system (ERP), or other system to track and analyze processes and performance.

Implements strong safety polices and procedures Comply with the requirements of the company’s Quality Management System.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education

Associate degree or its equivalent.

Supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes.

Contributes to the development of processes and procedures.

Thorough knowledge of functional area 3+ years of experience in related area as an individual contributor

Strong technical and supervisory skills to direct assist staff Proficiency in English, including the ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English, is required for this position.

Desired Skills, Experience, and Education

2+ years in a warehouse lead or supervisory role

Physical Requirements

Lift, carry, and move materials up to 50 pounds Remain in a stationary/seated position for an extended period.

Regularly required to operate a computer, telephone, keyboard, and other office machinery.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work. The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds.
