Job summary

Central Transport LLC is seeking a results-driven operations supervisor to oversee outbound activities in a 44-door facility in Stoughton, MA. You will manage forklift traffic, ensure accurate palletized freight handling, and lead up to 30 local LTL drivers and dock personnel to meet production goals.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, cross-border familiarity, and a high aptitude for technology. Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred, with a competitive benefits package and a base salary

Responsibilities

• Oversee outbound operations within a 44-door freight facility for your designated section of the dock.
• This includes the process of loading, managing forklift traffic, and overseeing proper picking/sortation of palletized freight.
• Manage up to 30 local LTL drivers and dock personnel to achieve a designated production schedule.
• Relaying critical information between drivers and our vendors/Terminal Managers.
• Review and revise driver routes to increase efficiencies while monitoring a changing workload.
• Utilizing your independent judgement to build loads based on available labor and freight levels.
• Ensure proper load of carriers by monitoring the cube and weight of trailers.
• Provide leadership and accountability to a team of drivers, dock workers and dock hand.
• Monitor dock production, ensuring facility Key Performance Indicator goals are met and/or exceeded.
• Monitor hours and overtime.
• Maintain a safe work environment compliant with state and federal DOT/OSHA standards.
• Ensure company operational model compliance.
• Support a culture of excellence in quality of product to internal and external customers

Salary:

Up to $75,000 + quarterly bonus (10%)

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

• Experience in a transportation, cross docking, or shipping and receiving environment (preferably within the LTL industry)
