Job summary

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® in Ocean Township, New Jersey is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead moving crews and manage the daily operational aspects of the business. Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Valid driver’s license with minimal moving violations in past 3 years.
• Pass a drug test and background screen.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote and protect the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® brand.
• Determine staffing requirements and facilitate the hiring process; interview, hire and train new employees.
• Oversee employee development, accountability, and corrective action programs.
• Coordinate scheduling, truck assignments, and dispatch of movers and drivers.
• Promote safety and ensure compliance with DOT regulations and FMCSA guidelines.
• Conduct performance audits during moves to ensure safety and customer satisfaction; oversee damage resolution.

Responsibilities

• Promote and protect the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® brand
• Determine staffing requirements and facilitate the hiring process; interview, hire and train new employees (or oversee these processes)
• Responsible for employee development, accountability, and corrective action programs
• Coordinate employee scheduling, truck assignments, and dispatch of movers and drivers
• Promote safety and uphold safety procedures and policies; ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and FMCSA guidelines
• Complete performance audits during moves to ensure safety and customer satisfaction; oversee damage resolution process

Requirements

• Ability to repeatedly lift over 50lbs
• Valid driver’s license with no more than two moving violations in the last three years
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background screen
