Job summary

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® in Ocean Township, New Jersey is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead moving crews and manage the daily operational aspects of the business. You will work with customers, vendors, and staff to meet goals, ensure safety procedures, and uphold our core values while driving growth and service quality.

This role requires strong leadership, scheduling, and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Valid driver’s license with minimal moving violations in past 3 years.
• Pass a drug test and background screen.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Demonstrated leadership to motivate, develop, and direct people.

Responsibilities

• Promote and protect the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® brand.
• Determine staffing requirements and facilitate the hiring process; interview, hire and train new employees.
• Oversee employee development, accountability, and corrective action programs.
• Coordinate scheduling, truck assignments, and dispatch of movers and drivers.
• Promote safety and ensure compliance with DOT regulations and FMCSA guidelines.
• Conduct performance audits during moves to ensure safety and customer satisfaction; oversee damage resolution.
